The Ring of Sports
The Deutsche Olympische Sportbund (“German Olympic Sports Confederation”) is now known as DOSB. The new logo – and centrepiece of a comprehensive corporate design from Berlin agency Realgestalt – uses the “O” to represent the interlinked rings of Olympic sports. Combining Germany’s national colours with the Olympic rings, this unique logo, the Ring of Sports, will be used in all future DOSB campaigns, institutions and activities, establishing the brand as a cohesive entity. “This will help to bring public perception of DOSB in line with what it truly is: an umbrella organisation for German Sports,” explains Hans-Peter Krämer, vice-president of DOSB.
