Berlin Biennale Website
Realgestalt is responsible for conceiving, designing and programming the new website for the Berlin Biennale.
The goal was to make the website accessible to a broader public segment, to strengthen its perception and significance in professional circles, and to establish the brand as a distinct entity.
To make a topical website such as this accessible to the public at large, it was quickly apparent to us that we needed to implement a “responsive design”.
Hence, the page adapts accordingly depending on the resolution of the end device.
A conscious choice has been made to use a minimal, low-profile design that avoids detracting from the works of the various artists. This also leaves more space for the images.
The site can be maintained using a highly modular Content Management System. Content managers can easily set up the page using the existing modules. This results in maximum flexibility with a minimum of programming effort.
