Cornelsen Verlag was founded 1946 in Berlin and is one of the leading publishers of education media in Germany. Cornelsen develops educational material for teachers, pupils and adults. Their publishing portfolio ranges from textbooks and technical literature to advanced training courses to multimedia software and eLearning products. As manufacturing responsibilities change at the publishing company, textbook designers must obey these compulsory guidelines to ensure that the brand identity is consistently maintained across the product range. For this purpose, Cornelsen collaborated with Realgestalt in developing a Corporate Design Manual for Products – and it is already being used to great success.
